Jessica and Josh planned an intimate and romantic elopement wedding at a rental cabin in Broken Bow. Jessica and Josh met during the pandemic and knew they wanted a family-oriented wedding. The bride grew up visiting this area, so tying the knot at this luxurious cabin in Broken Bow was a perfect choice!
Elopement weddings bring out the most important aspects of the wedding day, like spending time with the ones you love most. It was important to Jessica and Josh to celebrate their love with just their closest family members. Jessica selected simple florals and details with a gorgeous earthy color palette. Their vows’ books match their flower colors perfectly.
The luxurious cabin was a photographer’s dream! It was full of natural light and surrounded by stunning forests and hiking trails! Even though this was a small elopement wedding, Jessica and Josh still did a first look so we could hike up the mountain to capture the views! Jessica’s gorgeous lace dress was comfortable and easy to walk in! I absolutely loved getting photos of the couple along the way. The forest was so beautiful with the leaves just starting to turn.
Jessica and Josh had their ceremony on the back patio of the cabin. Jessica walked down the aisle with her dad and included their dogs in the ceremony! They asked Jessica’s brother to marry them and had one of the dogs as the ring bearer. Josh’s mother had recently been in an accident so they were so happy to have her there, even though she was in a wheelchair. They thought she wouldn’t be able to make it! I thought it was so sweet how emotional Josh was during the ceremony!
After the ceremony, they cut their cake covered in blackberries and shared their first dance together. We made sure to capture some last photos outside right after sunset with their pups! Afterward, everyone went to a nearby restaurant for a private dinner.
I love working with couples who love nature, exploring, and just being in the moment together! Congratulations to the happy couple!
