Julie and Nathan selected Harwelden Mansion as their wedding venue for its historic charm. It was the perfect spot for their fall wedding right in the heart of downtown Tulsa. Julie and Nathan have a classic and timeless style and they wanted to ensure their wedding day reflected their personalities. When Nathan proposed, he even did so with a vintage family ring. This Oklahoma venue could not have been more perfect for them!

Elegant Downtown Oklahoma Wedding Venue

The day began with Julie and Nathan getting ready separately at the mansion along with their wedding parties. The vibe of the day was classic, yet modern, with a black color scheme with fall tones. They made sure the decor, flowers, and details were minimal so that the historic venue could shine through. Julie wore a gorgeous high-neck lace gown with a vintage feel. She looked absolutely stunning!

Harwelden Mansion has so many options for photos, and it was important for Julie and Nathan to take advantage of that! From the stunning windows to the dark wood paneling, to the gothic brick exterior architecture – we planned plenty of time for portraits throughout the entire day. These two were so much fun to photograph!

Modern Tulsa Wedding Photography at Harwelden Mansion

It was a beautiful autumn day in Tulsa – perfect for their outdoor ceremony. Their ceremony was one of my favorite moments. The backdrop of the oak plank front door and massive projecting bay window could not be a more perfect place to say “I do.”

After the ceremony, we snuck away to take more portraits around the mansion. One of my favorite spots was the rooftop at sunset. Julie and Nathan then joined their guests for the reception. They entered hand in hand down the grand staircase and kicked the night off with their first dance. After dinner and speeches, the couple changed into their second outfit which was super fun and stylish!

After celebrating on the dance floor with their family and friends, they ended the night with a ribbon grand exit into their getaway car! Congratulations to this wonderful couple!
